Dedication Ceremony "ONE" Sculpture
You're invited to attend the dedication ceremony of a recently gifted sculpture 'ONE' to the University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥.
The University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ welcomes the significant gift that will transform our Western Concourse and provide a lasting legacy for our community.
The Sculpture is the creation of Geoffrey Drake-Brockman who specialises in large-scale public installations. Geoffrey is a cybernetics artist whose autonomous robotic and optical artworks interact with audiences to bring about dynamic performances. Geoffrey has an international reputation having exhibited works in London, New York, Singapore, Aarhus (Denmark) as well as closer to home in Melbourne, Perth and ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥.
‘One’ is intended to speak to the values for living: truth, right conduct, love, peace and non-violence; a direct association with our vision of building a safe and respectful campus community. More information on the installation is available here.
