About FADX

Each November, the University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥â€™s flagship creative annual event, FADX, is held by the Faculty of Arts and Design.  FADX is a Graduating Student Showcase that features the applied work of our graduating students from the disciplines of Design & the Built Environment, Arts, and Communication & Media.

It is a celebration of the achievements of our graduating students and a chance for them to develop and display the best work of their degree for their family, friends, and the public – including industry professionals. There is an emphasis on industry attendance and involvement, and, because of this, FADX encourages students to reflect on who they are as emerging professionals and decide how best to communicate that to prospective industries.

It is an opportunity for students to reflect on the process of learning, the outcomes they have achieved, and to present that learning journey, development, and growth through ideas, theory, and practice.

Opening Night 2025 (TBC)

Opening Night is a celebratory event that invites industry professionals, family members, and friends to view the works of our graduating students. Guests will have the opportunity to wander around and engage with student works, listen to students present and discuss their works, and celebrate the final chapter of their studies. Awards and other smaller events will also take place on this night. Catering will be provided, which will include drinks and canapes.
