Study online with UC

Life does not pause just because you want to study.

You might be working, caring for someone, or trying to find time in an already chaotic schedule. That is where online study at UC can help.

Our courses are built to fit around real life, not the other way around. You can study in a way that works for you, with support that is there when you need it.

When you study online with UC, you are not doing it on your own. You are part of a community that understands what you are balancing, and backs you to keep going.

What you can expect

  • Support that shows up: If you get stuck, you will not be left to figure it out alone. From academic help to career advice, there are real people ready to support you.
  • Connection that feels real: You will get to know your tutors and classmates through discussions, group work and shared experiences, even if you are studying from home.
  • Learning that leads somewhere: You will build practical skills you can use at work and beyond, shaped by UC’s strong links with industry and community.

Careers UC

Yes, many students do.

Your study load will depend on your course and whether you choose full-time or part-time study. You can switch between the two if your situation changes.

Studying full-time while working full-time is possible, but it takes planning. It helps to have a workplace that supports you, especially during busy periods like exams or placements.

Online study at UC is flexible, but it still has structure.

You will take part in things like:

  • Recorded lectures you can watch in your own time
  • Live sessions and discussions
  • Assignments and readings with set deadlines
  • Group work, depending on your course

You can plan your study around your life, while still staying on track.

Study at UC

It depends on what you choose to study and how you structure it.

As a guide:

  • Undergraduate degrees usually take three to four years full-time
  • Postgraduate degrees usually take one to two years full-time
  • Graduate certificates are often completed in about one year

If you study part-time, it will take longer. Some courses also offer options like Winter Term if you want to move a bit faster.

Costs vary depending on your course.

Some courses offer Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP), which means part of your fees are covered by the Australian Government.

You may also be able to access:

  • HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP loans
  • Scholarships
  • Student support services

You can find full details on fees and options on the UC website.

If you are ready to apply, we are here to help.

The process will depend on your course and your background, but you can find everything you need through the UC application portal.

If you are unsure where to start or want to talk it through, reach out. We can walk you through your options and help you take the next step.
