Yes, many students do.
Your study load will depend on your course and whether you choose full-time or part-time study. You can switch between the two if your situation changes.
Studying full-time while working full-time is possible, but it takes planning. It helps to have a workplace that supports you, especially during busy periods like exams or placements.
Online study at UC is flexible, but it still has structure.
You will take part in things like:
- Recorded lectures you can watch in your own time
- Live sessions and discussions
- Assignments and readings with set deadlines
- Group work, depending on your course
You can plan your study around your life, while still staying on track.
It depends on what you choose to study and how you structure it.
As a guide:
- Undergraduate degrees usually take three to four years full-time
- Postgraduate degrees usually take one to two years full-time
- Graduate certificates are often completed in about one year
If you study part-time, it will take longer. Some courses also offer options like Winter Term if you want to move a bit faster.
Costs vary depending on your course.
Some courses offer Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP), which means part of your fees are covered by the Australian Government.
You may also be able to access:
- HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP loans
- Scholarships
- Student support services
You can find full details on fees and options on the UC website.
If you are ready to apply, we are here to help.
The process will depend on your course and your background, but you can find everything you need through the UC application portal.
If you are unsure where to start or want to talk it through, reach out. We can walk you through your options and help you take the next step.
Whether you have work experience, life skills or qualifications outside of uni, UC offers a range of entry and credit options to help you study with us. Your experience could make you eligible to gain entry to university, receive credit for your chosen qualification and reduce your study time.
