This is A still-life artwork focusing on the idea of ‘self-reflection’. Using objects from my surroundings this still-life paints a narrative of a girl sitting down to write in her journal. The journal represents self-reflecting as an activity, writing in a journal to reflect on your day, and reading through previous entries as a way of reflecting on your past and seeing how far you have come. All the other objects present show different ways of reflecting on ones life.
