Replace Our Gravelled Roads

As technology becomes increasingly accessible, especially for young children, comments are often made on how things would be better if children just got off the device and went out to play. However also with a rise in technology comes an increase in vehicles and road infrastructure, so it is becoming paradoxically less safe for children to be out and about playing. This poem was heavily influenced by disturbing statistics which are released about children in road accidents, whilst challenging the notion that technology is always bad for youth.
