Choose the study methods that suit you. UC offers three different study methods to ensure you can balance your work, lifestyle and study, all on your terms.

UC’s education degrees can be completed in one of three study modes:

  • Online: All online study with in-person school-based and on-country experiences in the ACT region.
  • Blended: Blend of online and in-person study, with school-based  and on-country experiences in the ACT region.
  • On-campus: All in-person study with in-person school-based and on-country experiences in the ACT region.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for this course, applicants must have:

  • Year 12 ATAR – selection rank of 60, or
  • Other Australian qualification, or
  • Work experience, or
  • Overseas qualification.

Additional admission requirements

All applicants must complete a written statement responding to questions designed to assess their suitability for the teaching profession and obtain a minimum of satisfactory for the Bachelor of Secondary Education degree.

Fee help

Some students (such as Australian citizens or holders of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa) may be eligible to apply to defer payment of their tuition fees via the Commonwealth Government's FEE-HELP and HECS-HELP schemes.
