Biographical Note

Susanne Gervay was born in Australia of Hungarian parents. She has an BA from the University of Sydney, an MA in Creative Writing for the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Master of Education degree from the University of New South Wales. Gervay has lectured in a variety of areas, including at conferences, writers festivals and writers centres and has published short stories and poetry in many major Australian literary journals. Her works for children have received numerous awards and recommendations from educational and community groups.
