This project addresses the challenges of fossil fuel dependency in operating heritage machinery. Working with private owners and museum custodians of operating heritage machinery it is gathering data on current fuel types and usage, community awareness and plans for coping with the phase-down of fossil fuels, and investigating the potential and appetite for sustainable alternative fuel and lubricant options.
