1 October 2019: The University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ has once again retained the top spot in the ACT for full-time employment and starting salary for graduates, according to the 2020 Good Universities Guide.
UC also earned the top ranking in the Territory for social equity, first generation students, learning resources, skills development and study support.
“The Good Universities Guide results prove our ethos of career-orientated degrees, work-integrated learning, and ensuring that a university education is in reach for first-in-generation students, such as regional students, those from low socioeconomic backgrounds and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds,” said Professor Deep Saini, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥.
“Not only does UC provide more pathways to higher education, it also supports students through learning resources, skills development and student support, as evidenced by this feedback.”
The University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ also ranked number 1 in the ACT for teaching quality, learning resources, quality educational experiences, median graduate salaries, skills development, student support, learner engagement and full-time employment across almost 90 categories in specialist subject areas in all faculties—from architecture, to business management, communications to information systems, nursing to law, pharmacy to education and many more.
“We are the university for ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥, from ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ and of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥. We are here to serve our city, and through it the nation,” said Professor Saini.
