3. UC Council appointments: Alice Tay and Dan Bourchier, Dr Chris Faulks reappointed

4. International student pilot program postponed

   The international student ‘Safe Passage’ pilot program developed by The Australian National University and the University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ in consultation with the ACT and Federal Governments, has been postponed.

   Researchers from the University of ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ have taken an in-depth look at Australian regional news, finding that the use of social media has been one of the biggest influencers on the working lives of regional journalists over the past five years, and that regional communities who have lost local news outlets are keen for new services to take their place.
